Meet the 5th Annual Beneficiaries

In honor of our 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, we decided to benefit not one, but FIVE charities! Get to know a little bit more about each charity, and find out how you can get involved!

Alaqua Animal Refuge is a no-kill animal sanctuary and adoption center located in Freeport, Florida. A member of the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries, Alaqua believes that every abused, neglected and homeless animal deserves a second chance. On a daily basis, Alaqua Animal Refuge saves, treats, and re-homes all types of animals, from puppies to ponies. Find out more HERE.

Lighthouse Family Retreat serves families living through childhood cancer by creating environments on seaside retreats where they can rest, restore relationships, experience joy and find hope in God. Lighthouse Family Retreat hosts vacations for children with cancer and their families. This enables families to experience a sense of normalcy through trips to the Emerald Coast. Find out more HERE.

Special Olympics Florida - Okaloosa County provides year-round sports training and competition to children and adults 8 years of age and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities. From swimming to cheerleading, Special Olympics Florida - Okaloosa County offers 12 sports for athletes to compete in. Along with sports, they also offer health programs, such as FUNfitness, to athletes at no cost. Find out more HERE.

Trees on the Coast is dedicated to improving Okaloosa and Walton County's beauty through planting, conservation and education. From planting trees to awarding local businesses with landscaping awards, Trees on the Coast is dedicated to helping locals create their own beauty. Find out more HERE.

Youth Village, Inc is an organization located in Fort Walton Beach for children in Kindergarten to 8th grade. It was formed in 1999 to create a safe place to provide various educational and recreational services to children ages 5-16 in our community. From helping with homework to dance lessons, Youth Village, Inc works hard to ensure that children have a safe place to learn and laugh. Find out more HERE.
