We are proudly annoucing the hire of yet another realtor, Wendy Hayden, to our continually growing team!

Wendy moved to the area 2 ½ years ago from Atlanta. She has previously worked in sales, property management and leasing with a strong background of managing 200 long-term rentals from Destin to Navarre. Whether looking to buy a home or looking to sell or lease, Wendy is skilled and experienced to assist her client’s every need!

Passionate about fishing, Wendy has always longed to live at the beach full time.

“My ultimate dream was to live at the beach,” Wendy said. “Nowhere else could compare to the sugar-white sands, emerald waters and world-famous fishing of Destin.”

One of her prized fishing accomplishments was featured in the Destin Log when she caught a 30 lb Redfish on Henderson Beach.

In the past two years, we have tripled its number of realtors, now consisting of approximately 30 team members.

A Warm Welcome To Our New Team Member, Jordan Dennis!

Please welcome Los Angeles native and active marine, Jordan Dennis, joining the team at Blue Marlin Realty Group as a realtor!

With three years of real estate experience in the California area and nine months in Florida, Dennis joins the team at Blue Marlin after relocating to the area with his family a year ago. Dennis, his wife and two children moved to the Destin area in February 2012 with the Marine Corps and currently resides on Eglin Air Force Base.

“I am excited to work in real estate in such a beautiful and unique area,” Dennis said. “It has a great southern coastal charm, which is great for my family, but also a strong military presence. 

Dennis has over 16 years of active military duty to include, with nearly eight years in the Air Force and another eight years in the Marine Corps. His past work experience includes military aviation maintenance and building jet engines. He is currently attending Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and will graduate in 2015 with a degree in project management. His passion and experience in the Marine Corps has helped him find a niche for military buyers and homeowners in the real estate business.

With various military accolades under his belt, Dennis has received many personal awards such as two Air Force Achievement medals, two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medals and four good conduct medals.

The imaging system is used to detect and diagnose cancer, while also monitoring cancer therapy and other diseases and neurological conditions.

Sullivan told The Log that donating toys to children in need is especially close to his heart. For the past two years, Blue Marlin has collected toy donations for the holidays.

"All families go through hard times, whether it's a death, an illness or financially," he said. "Christmas is a time for family and spending time with one another, and sometimes your community becomes your family."

"If a family for whatever reason can't have what others can and they are suffering, we want to help," Sullivan added. "We saw the excitement in the faces of those children, and the excitement in the faces of our family, friends and clients as they brought in toys."

We are EXPANDING!

We are proud to announce the significant expansion to the team with the addition of several new professionals, Roger Conner, Kate Mast, Lindsay Fullerton, and Ashley Blasbichler.

Joining the Blue Marlin team as a Realtor, Conner was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and moved to the Emerald Coast area as a young child. Graduating from Freeport High School in 1997, Conner joined the United States Navy in ’99 as an Avionics Technician where he earned the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for his efforts in Operation Enduring Freedom. After his service, Conner became involved in the real estate industry in 2001.

"Real Estate has been my passion since buying my first home when I was 23. Now, to be selling homes in one of the most beautiful places in the world is a dream come true, ” says Conner.

Kate Mast, joining the team as a Realtor, was originally from Colorado, but later moved to the Emerald Coast over 10 years ago to be closer to family. She graduated from University of West Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, and has worked in the service industry for over 11 years as well as owned and managed her own business, Crave Cupcakes.

"I am excited to work with families new to the area, ” said Mast. “I remember the process of relocating to Destin, and purchasing my own home. I look forward to helping those families find their perfect home.”

New Real Estate Sales Manager Lindsay Fullerton was born and raised in Destin, Florida. A graduate of Fort Walton Beach High School, Fullerton received her real estate license from Ed Kofflers School of Real Estate. Since beginning her career in 2001, Fullerton has developed extensive experience in Emerald Coast real estate in addition to traveling to sell in Europe as well. 

"The area has been such a big part of my life, ” said Fullerton. “My new position gives me the opportunity to combine two things I love: The Emerald Coast and real estate.”

Joining the team as a new Realtor, Ashley Blasbichler was born and raised in Destin, Florida. A graduate of Fort Walton Beach High School and Northwest Florida State College, Blasbichler grew up working with her family in a local Vacation Rental business, Sea Oates Motel & Management. Receiving her real estate license over ten years ago, Blasbichler worked in real estate and vacation rentals at Holiday Isle Properties, Inc.

Welcome Candyce to the Blue Marlin Team!

We are proud to announce Candyce Gray has been appointed to Office Administrator.  

Raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Candyce grew up vacationing in Destin. Her dream of living on the Emerald Coast came true in November of 2012 when she relocated to the area. In her new position, Candyce will be responsible for customer service along with all other office administration duties while continuing to pursue her real estate license.

"One of my biggest passions in life has been with my community charity work, ” says Gray. “I look forward to connecting the Blue Marlin Group with future opportunities with numerous great causes in the area.”
